The visitors to any website are its contributors to traffic. To get visitors to a website for the first time and make them visit multiple times and interact with it are two different things, often confused as same.
If you come to know what is valuable for a visitor on your website, then you can retain them after they visit for the first time by serving their needs. On the other hand, if you consider an ordinary situation and know what people generally like on the internet(particularly the niche of a website), you can get them for the first time. Put those together, and you have a promising website.

The usage of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, etc. is undoubtedly one of the most common and effective ways. Since it is a common way, what matters most is your engaging posts with good quality images, graphics, videos, trending hashtags, etc. Studying your target audience may help you focus better.
2) Activities in Online Communities
If the traffic does not come to you, then go where it is. Be active on discussion forums or communities such as Quora. Share valuable information. As a result, people will see you more often and then come back to it more often if they like it.
3) Paid Traffic Sources
You may use paid traffic sources like advertisements, collaborating with other websites for links, etc. that depends on your budget. If your budget is tight, look into shared revenue agreements with other websites in your niche.

The content’s appeal should make most people in your niche like it, as that also means they’re more willing to share it with others.
2) Easy Navigation and Accessibility
The website content should be easily navigable and accessible to the visitor. That adds up to a positive user experience.
3) The Uniqueness of the Website
The visitor should get a clear sense of how your website is unique. The contributors to the uniqueness are again the web content, website features as well as the concept of the website. Uniqueness can show up in branding, as well. You might have a certain tone or angle to your content that no competitor has tried. If a visitor finds a website unique, it is likely he would visit that again and share it with his online contacts.
