How can I build inbound links and increase traffic to my website?
Inbound links, also called backlinks, have many benefits, the primary being direct website traffic. Based on my experience, I would like to share some tactics with you for building quality backlinks.
Assuming that you are aware of the basics of inbound links, let’s go past that. In case you want more information about something here, please feel free to reply to me. I can give you a detailed explanation, as it’s my field of interest, and I have tried and tested multiple backlinking methods. Out of numerous options, here are five tactics that I apply for building inbound links:
1) Have a blog:
Assuming your core site, the one you want links to go to, isn’t a blog, start a blog that can link to your main site pages. That’s the most tried and trusted way to generate inbound links in an organic way. Writing guest blog posts are also effective, if you’d rather not start and run your own.
2) Do content marketing:
If you are dealing with an eCommerce website, then this strategy works well. It’s basically what a blog is, but taken in a more diverse direction. Great content marketing is done in stages that link to each other. One type of content leads to another, then another, with multiple splitting-off points backlinking to your main site pages.
3) Keep track of your competitors:
Find similar websites in the same niche and then check where they are getting their backlinks from. It’ll take time, but once you come to know that, you have a foolproof blueprint of what to try for your own site.
4) Use social media websites:
Social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. always contribute to getting traffic and backlinks. Making posts that link to your website can be one of the strategies to drive traffic from social media. If you want to make social media work for you, rather than work for it, make use of influencer marketing techniques. To know more about that, check my profile, where I have recently answered a question related to it.
5) Link to other websites:
Networking is always important in business. You can link your content to other websites, and in return, get links from those websites. This kind of thing doesn’t need to be stiff and pre-planned, either. In fact, it’s ideal when it’s not. You link to a site you like that your customers would also like, and they link back. You start doing cooperative content together, etc. You need to be social and should know how to be assertive and make a deal.
After applying the above tactics, you can build quality backlinks and increase traffic to your website. If possible, look for more ways when you’re ready to expand, keeping in mind the above points.
You seem to have a good knowledge of web traffic. Out of respect, I would like to tell you a special method that I apply to get traffic to my websites. That method covers the techniques for building backlinks and other innovative ways of increasing web traffic.
The name of that method is One Minute Free Traffic (OMFT). The best thing about that method is that it’s not just a tool to do a particular task (although it does teach one), it’s a repository of knowledge of the basics of web traffic, which are often ignored. OMFT is a roughly one-hour-long video program teaching you how to get free traffic from just a few minutes of work per day. Since I am using this method, and the results so far have been amazing for my previous projects, I would recommend the same to you.
In conclusion, building quality backlinks and increasing website traffic is not difficult, but one should be aware of the basics and stick to them. There’s no need to get overly clever. If you want good quality traffic, and lots of it, then you should follow the specific, proven methods, and discover the best way to make them work for your particular business.

Good Luck!
