Traffic is essential for every website. More traffic to an eCommerce website means more sales, which means more revenue. I appreciate your choice of organic traffic. No doubt it takes time to build, but it’s worth it.

Let’s quickly explore how you can increase organic traffic to your website.

5 ways in which you can get more traffic to your website, and ultimately get more sales:

#1 Affiliate programs:

By having an affiliate program for the products on your eCommerce website, you can get more sales as well as more traffic. You can implement influencer marketing, social proof, other websites, etc. to refer buyers to you, and in return, you can pay them a commission for each sale. Just be picky and vet the potential candidates for the program.

#2 Sales campaign:

By creating an exceptional sales campaign, you can get more traffic and sales. Make some kind of event around what you’re selling. You can also run giveaway campaigns and offer seasonal/festive discounts. Basically, don’t just be passively out there online.

#3 SEO: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a way to make the pages of your site more likely to show up to people in Google and other search engines. Too big of a topic to go into here, but don’t ignore SEO, that’s the bottom line.

#4 Social Media:

By making engaging, valuable posts that describe the products of your online store, and in the process offer value independent of what you are selling, you can get more sales and traffic. Merely making posts selling your stuff won’t help, because, without initial value, no one has any reason to care. I would take this step seriously, designing and implementing a Content Multiplication Model for maximum reach, clicks, and sales.

#5 Paid ads:

If your budget allows, you can have paid advertisements to promote your website/online store. PPC ads on Google or social media platforms can work pretty well. But you need an effective business model, one where the average customer is worth more than the cost of acquisition. This is easier said than done for a beginner, but CMMs, as I noted above, will help.

I’ve also used some specific trainings that helped out a lot, such as OMFT. If you are interested, you can check my website.

Good Luck! Happy New Year!
