How can I organically grow my email list in 2020?
I am applying List Warrior for that purpose. For over the last several years, I have been trying and testing multiple methods as a digital marketing professional. Let’s first discuss some general, but powerful tips to grow your email list organically in 2020.
Here are 5 tips for organic growth of email lists that are still working well 2020:
1) Use Popups
You may use popups on your web pages. Whenever the user visits or leaves any page, while scrolling, waiting for content to load, etc. popups and lightboxes can be very useful. Be cautious while using them as they may sometimes irritate the user too.
2) Using Social Media
You can make use of social media posts with a link to the landing page to engage the audience and build their interest so that they may follow up on that link, and then share it with others. Social media isn’t going away anytime soon, so it will continue to work in 2020 and well beyond.
3) Using Lead Magnets
Incentives in the exchange of email addresses are lead magnets like free ebooks, guides, coupons, free access, etc.
4) Usage of Call To Action (CTA) Words/Buttons
You may create CTA buttons on your social media pages and web pages. Some common words can be used for CTA buttons as well as in the content such as “Join, Free, Upgrade, Find, Start, Stop”, etc. Words like this have a lot of power in copywriting because they catch the user’s attention.
5) Ad Campaigns
You may run advertisements on various platforms that engage readers and help to get leads. Just make sure you’re advertising something people would want to give their email for, such as an event you’re holding that people would want to sign up for, or a special gift, such as a free book of yours (works well for any writer, fiction or nonfiction).
In addition to the above, you may explore more out of social media platforms by using their features such as CTA buttons for a Facebook page, “Link In Bio”, stories, highlights, etc. features of Instagram and many more. I might be able to offer more tips that can be specific to your niche. You can leave me a reply for more information on that.
Coming back to my point, the results with List Warrior have been really exciting so far. It’s the way I personally grow my lists, with other methods being secondary. Here’s why.
List Warrior is a several-hour-long video program teaching you how to build an email list in a way that costs nothing or little to nothing and adds up quickly. It overcomes the initial hurdle of building the list, which I see most people dealing with. The additional features with it like email autoresponder tutorials, free funnel review, case studies, etc. would teach one-and-done tactics to build zero to ten thousand subscribers in a matter of months.
The best part for me is case studies. Studying someone else’s success story helps motivate me and affirm that I’m doing it right. It’s easy to say “I don’t know if this will work, my niche is different.” But 99 times out of 100 it isn’t. Seeing how different people in totally different niches made it work helps open your third eye, so to speak.
Since it’s still pretty new to me, I’m praising it as much as I can. I would suggest you read my honest review on it: REVIEW: List Warrior.
I would appreciate it if you would leave your feedback on List Warrior or anything I described above.
Good Luck!
Thanks,
Cleo
