I am posting regularly on my blog for the last two months. I am writing 600-800 words content by following proper SEO techniques, but the visitor count is 20-30 per day. What should I do? Should I continue or blogging is not for me?
If it’s been just two months, then I would say, the visitor count is not bad. It might be less for you, but I would take that count as a positive sign. That reminds me of my initial days as a blogger. However, there is a vast scope of improvement, and I will suggest elements of that in my answer.
The visitors, or in broader terms, the traffic to a blog comes due to many reasons. The niche of your blog has a lot to do with that. Niches like health, fitness, travel, lifestyle, etc. get a good number of visitors. But that does not mean all writers would be confined to writing in those niches only. People on the internet have varied interests. Obviously you know your blog’s niche, and since I do not, I cannot comment more on that right now.
As you have said, you are doing a bit of SEO, that’s a good step. Do more on that. That always helps.
Getting straight to the point, for increasing traffic to your blog, you may follow two ways. Either use free methods or make use of paid methods. Assuming that you are aware of the methods for growing visitors, as you have been already trying them, I would avoid suggesting the same old methods here. You can check my profile for that as I keep answering such questions frequently.
I would suggest the method which I apply for most of my projects. The results for me have been very satisfying. I make use of the One Minute Free Traffic (OMFT) method for growing visitors to my blogs/websites. That is a roughly one-hour-long video program teaching you how to get free traffic from just a few minutes of work per day. For sure, after correct implementation of that method, you would be surprised to know how easy it is to get traffic to a blog. Since discussing all the contents of that video program in this answer will not be possible as it might increase the length of the answer, I would suggest you read my honest review of OMFT.
That review can help you understand OMFT better. In case it suits you, then you may opt for OMFT. For your situation, that won’t be a weak decision. It’s kind of designed for your exact situation: has content, working on SEO, but needs traffic.
In the end, I would suggest you give more time before you give up, say at least six months. Though blogging is not everyone’s cup of tea, if you have been doing that for two months, then it means you have a knack for it. I’m sure you have some regular readers, and if so, that is proof you can build a bigger fan-base of people like that.
Please feel free to link to your blog in a reply. You are also welcome to reply to me if you need more information on growing the visitor count to your blog.
Good Luck! Stay Positive!
Thanks,
