Online money making is a waste of time. Yes or no?
Depends on how much you’re making, and at what cost in time and effort. If someone is earning more than at his regular office job, by spending less time, then no, it’s not a waste of time. In fact, it’s saving time, which can then be spent with family, friends, or to learn new skills to earn more money in the future. There are a lot of ways to make money online that are a waste of time, but not all. Now, as for the wrong or right techniques to make money online, let’s discuss that.
First of all, I would like to tell you that I have been earning money online for many years, earning is good, and I am leading a prosperous life. Of course, I will give a brief introduction to my way of doing that, before I conclude this answer. For now, let’s first discuss the right or wrong techniques of earning money online.
A technique or way of earning money online can be wrong in two ways:
First, the method is unethical or leads to make you earn money through fraudulent ways. There can be many examples of that, such as deceiving someone online and then earning money from that, like in the case of low-quality products, deceptive services, etc.
Second, the method of doing a task is not appropriate. For example, a good source of online income can be the traffic to a website. That is if someone has a website and gets visitors, also known as web traffic, then with more traffic, the earning potential from the website is also higher. For that, a wrong method can be the application of improper ways that may provide traffic initially but are not capable of doing that in the long run. Or, the monetization can be flawed, and the site offers inefficient or not-congruent ways of making money from those visitors, such as selling a product that doesn’t match what the visitors might want.
Both the above ways are considered wrong techniques as well as a waste of time. The former will most likely get you in trouble and ruin your reputation, and the latter is just going to disappoint you.
The right techniques to make money online get two things right: they guarantee a good amount of traffic, and they offer monetization methods that are congruent with that traffic. Such a technique is not a waste of time, especially not if you optimize it. The more traffic you get for your efforts, and the more dollars you can convert on average from that traffic, the better you are using your time. as if something gives benefits with fewer efforts in lesser time, then that’s like making the best possible use of time. At this point, you may think: “Where can we get a good technique of earning money that doesn’t waste time?” Rest easy! I am here to help you with that. But you need to understand that there is no shortcut past those two things I stated earlier. You need traffic, and you need effective monetization methods that match up with that traffic. Trying to skip or dodge past the work of making these happen is going to waste your time.
There are plenty of good ways to make money online, which you can learn from talented, experienced, genuine people. I have deliberately used the word ‘genuine’ here. To know if a person who claims to earn money online is genuine or not requires some research and common sense. I say from experience, I know what it’s like to get burned and scammed by unethical online gurus. To avoid that, get into the details of the teacher’s method, and their reputation, before making a commitment. The second approach could be following some of the top-rated, best-known books for making money online and financial independence. There are many good books in that niche.
I was lucky to start my journey of earning online on the suggestion of a genuine person who recommended me a book. The name of that book is “4-Hour Work Week“. It is one of the oldest and biggest books for teaching principles so that anyone can earn money online. I owe a big part of my success to that and always recommend that book to everyone who wishes to earn money online. If you are interested in knowing more, you can read a review of it through this link.
Based on my experience and the feedback of a large number of people who are successful in earning money online, I say that making money online is not a waste of time, just like making money at a job is not a waste of time, as long as you’re getting more out of it than what you put in. Getting to that point takes some work, and studying from a teacher whose success you can model, but it’s not as difficult as people might think.
Please feel free to leave me a reply if you need more information on any of the points discussed in this answer or from that post.
Good Luck!
Thanks,
Cleo
