What’s a quick and safe way for increasing web traffic?

For quickly increasing the traffic to a website, there isn’t just a single way. One should try several methods over the long run and keep the ones that work the best.

Let’s discuss the options.

For long-term increases in website traffic, you need not just volume, but quality traffic that cares about your site and comes back many times. Per my decade-long experience testing multiple methods for web traffic, I have found that there are generally three ideal traits a traffic method can have, but no method is ever going to have all three. So, to pick the method that makes the most sense, we start with the right umbrella of options. Pick two, leave one:

1) Cheap/Free

2) Fast

3) Consistent

Getting all three benefits at once is not easily achievable; one will almost always be compromised. So if you want free and fast (1 and 2) you have to sacrifice consistency. If you want consistent and cheap, it’ll be slower than some other methods, etc.

Most people are unaware of these basics of web traffic. As a result, they get the wrong expectations about how easy or quickly something is supposed to happen, or they end up using methods that don’t scale or get results in the first place. Many effective options are out there, though, for those who are willing to do some research and keep working at it.

For more help picking the best way to draw traffic to your website, I have a post: Hunt Down The Three Little Pigs of Online Traffic. If you are interested, you can read it on my blog.

If you take only one thing from this answer, please make it this: to get more traffic, your site needs to provide value to your visitors. For that, you should produce regular content, optimize it for SEO, and make use of social media platforms to sharing your website’s content and multiply how many people get to see it. Think of situations where someone might be eager to end up on your website. What would they probably type into Google? Start there and you’ll soon come up with brilliant user-interest content ideas that you know, for a fact, people are looking up in Google.

If I knew your website and its niche, I could have given some specific suggestions. But I have a recommendation for you, anyway. If you are ready to invest in a specialized method to get more traffic that works regardless of any website’s niche, and can offer a good ROI, then I would suggest One Minute Free Traffic (OMFT). The course that teaches it is cheap and the method it focuses on has worked for me multiple times over different businesses and sites. If you are interested, you can check its review on my website.

By implementing the suggestions of this answer and reading the suggested post for a bonus bit of inspiration and guidance, you should be able to decide on a quick and safe way to increase traffic to your website. Study that one method, on your own, and commit to it without trying anything else for traffic. If you commit, you’ll see results.

Feel free to reply if you have any questions.

Good Luck!

Thanks,

Cleo
